Eating good food is a sensual experience. We taste it, we savor it, and we remember great meals. Sharing those meals with family and friends helps define our humanity. And the food we choose to eat expresses a fundamental choice about the kind of world we want to live in.
Made in 2012, the documentary, “Food Fight” provides an insider look on how American agricultural policy and food culture developed in the 20th century. It tells the story of how the California food movement rebelled against big agribusiness to launch the local organic food movement.
With 4/10 chronic diseases originating from food related experiences, we owe it to ourselves to better understand the discrepancies of what is advertised in local supermarkets and what we’re really consuming.
