One concept I always explore with my patients is that of making real lasting changes. The fact of the matter is once you lose weight, the changes need to be incorporated into a lifestyle. If you resume your previous habits, you are going to end up being the weight you were when those were your habits. Are you following me?
Prepare food on the weekend before the work week hits!
I just don’t just wake up healthy, I spend hours each week on the habits to maintain my weight and prevent weight gain. From food shopping, cooking dinners, packing lunches (not to mention exercise), I dedicate time to taking care of my health. Theses are my habits, they define me and my weight. I don’t pick up fast food and I rarely skip a workout.
